Speech and Debate
What happens when high school outsiders Howie, Solomon, and Diwata discover their drama teacher is chatting up teenage boys on a gay dating site? They form a speech and debate club, of course! A story of teenage bravado and modern shame, the play was written by Stephen Karam (The Humans), and originally produced Off-Broadway by Roundabout in 2007. This production was produced by the Chappell Players Theatre Group at St. John’s University in 2017.
Directed by Aaron D. Van Scyoc.
