For twenty years, the Chappell Players Theatre Group and Alpha Psi Omega have been producing a charity cabaret to raise money for St. John’s Bread and Life mobile soup kitchen, which provides warm meals and socials services to homeless New Yorkers. In the Fall of 2015, the cabaret was MisCast. Students swapped songs and gender roles to raise money for a good cause, while also challenging the gender binary. Conceived by Hannah Lang, directed by Benjamin Kistinger, and assistant directed by Aaron D. Van Scyoc and Pia Lyander.
